A friend from church made all of our flower arrangements - the bride's and bridesmaids' bouquets, corsages & boutionneres, and pew markers,
as well as an extra, smaller, bouquet for me to toss. We went to several craft stores (including one large "discount" place), and selected silk flowers for the arrangements,
and Evelyn arranged them at no cost to us. They were beautiful!
We found that the silk flowers were less expensive, besides the fact that we didn't have to throw them away after the ceremony.
The photo on the left is of my bouquet; the photo on the right is of one of the bridesmaids' bouquets. (They all matched.) Mine was mostly white roses,
with some small blue and purple something (I don't know what it was.) as filler and to add color, and loops of silver ribbon.
I also used textured silk flowers for our flower girl. I found a couple large, velvety purple and blue roses, and took them apart.
Brianna carried those petals in a small basket and tossed them on the floor. We didn't have the added cost of a carpet runner,
because there was no risk of grinding flower petals into the carpet!
